Alluvial Filmworks recognizes the accomplishments of talented individuals in the realm of gay and lesbian independent cinema by licensing, marketing and distributing evergreen, unlimited-run films of gay interest. This film division also produces its own material and ultimately prides itself in making movies available that gays and lesbians can relate to and others can enjoy as well. We welcome film submissions throughout the year. All types of filmmakers are encouraged to share their work with us.    How To Submit Your Film We accept submissions in DVD or VHS formats; however, we cannot guarantee that they will be returned. Submissions must be in English or have English subtitles. Your submission should include the following: Synopsis List of awards the film has won or has been nominated for List of any other notable accolades attached to the cast and crew List of film festivals where the film has screened Any reviews the film has received in the press or at film festivals Any other elements/resources you feel would be of interest to us Your contact information We are looking to highlight budding as well as established talent, so distinguished performers or awards are not essential elements for a piece to be considered for distribution. Please keep in mind that if we decide to license or purchase your film, you must be prepared to submit signed release forms from the performers who appear in any of the work that you submit. You must also have copies of photo identification for performers that verify his or her date of birth. If you do not have a general release form, we will be happy to provide one for you. We receive many submissions throughout the year and we try our best to respond to everyone in a timely manner; however, this may not always be the case. Sometimes, we may not respond promptly because we are waiting to see if we can use your work later in the year.
