We are looking for a fun, energetic and dynamic individual to fill the role of Assistant Retail Buyer at our corporate office in Hollywood, CA. In this position, you will assist the Senior Retail Buyer in the purchase of products for sale in our retail division and assist in weekly email sales promotion campaigns. Being a team player is a must as you may be required to assist related departments when necessary. Responsibilities: • Continuous monitoring of new vendors and new product from existing vendors for sale on our retail website. • Develop strong working relationships with vendors and our in-house web design team. • Develop email marketing campaigns and work with our in-house web design team on the artistic direction of the marketing campaigns. • Assist in updating the online retail website with new products, banners, and product page headers. • Daily reporting to Senior Retail Buyer of results of daily activities. Qualifications: • Previous experience in a related field of expertise. • Strong understanding of online retailing, internet workings, and inventory control software programs (Mail Order Manager, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). • Excellent organizational skills and follow through. Maintain historical reference and records data. • Ability to work well within a company that caters to the Gay & Lesbian community. • Team player with great interpersonal communication skills and an enthusiasm to come to work every day. • High productivity with minimal guidance and supervision. • Ability to "think on your feet" and redesign sales marketing campaigns not delivering targeted results.
