10% and PROVOCATEUR Announce Award Entries, Seek New Submissions

Los Angeles, California, September 24th, 2009 - 10% and PROVOCATEUR, leading publishers of internationally distributed paper products, announce this year’s calendar award entries and seek talented artists to submit photography for use with their upcoming 2011 calendar lines, which will be published in May of 2010.
This year’s submissions to the National and World Calendar Award Competitions held by the Calendar Marketing Association include the following:

The announcement of entries in next year’s awards program comes on the heels of this year’s announcement of three winners in the 2009 competition. For the fifth year in a row, 10% and PROVOCATEUR wall calendars were honored for superior content and design. 10% garnered two awards and PROVOCATUER won one. Boyfriend of the Month, a 10% calendar featuring photography by Ohm Phanphiroj, won the Gold Award for Best Glamour Photography in the National Competition. Magnifique, a 10% calendar featuring photography by Fred Goudon, won the Silver Award for Best Glamour Photography in the World Competition. And Women, a PROVOCATEUR calendar by Renée Jacobs, won the Gold Award for Best Black & White Photography in the World Competition
Time is quickly running out for photography to be submitted for 2011 calendars. Decisions regarding what imagery will be licensed will be made later this fall. Work to be considered for wall calendars should be submitted as soon as possible.
